The installation workflow is categorized into two primary technical systems: self-leveling and patching. The self-leveling system utilizes a premium compound suitable for thicknesses between 1 and 40 mm, while the patching system employs an Ultra-Light Prep for featheredge applications up to 3 mm. Both systems follow a structured buildup starting from the substrate and ending with the resilient flooring layer, ensuring long-term durability and standardized results across different project environments.

However, the full glue-down approach provides the most durable, stable, and versatile installation. MORIENT™ EcoWood-MS is an innovative adhesive that represents a significant advancement over traditional urethanes by using a modified-silane (MS) polymer base. This modern formulation is free of isocyanates, has minimal VOCs, and contains no water, solvents, amines, phthalate plasticizers, or epoxy resins.
At the same time, it remains a user-friendly, single-component adhesive with working and curing times comparable to urethane products. Critically, MORIENT™ EcoWood-MS retains traditional high elasticity of urethane adhesives. This flexibility not only provides a more comfortable, cushioned feel underfoot but also contributes significant sound reduction properties to the final flooring assembly.
